Weimaraners are a fairly young breed, dating back to early-nineteenth-century Germany. These dogs were bred for speed, sensing ability, and endurance while hunting big game like bear and deer. Gorgeous and courageous, they are affectionately called Weims or Gray Ghosts - for their sleek silver coats and pale blue eyes. They need exercise and mental stimulation. Without it, they are rambunctious! A true family friend.
